So, I can't travel and no one is coming to the SAV for the holiday. Yes, we are alone for Christmas. Sad, but it's kind of peaceful. We're throwing a Christmas Eve dinner for 10 and then heading over to Chuck and Jen's on the 25th.
Clients are amazing and they are all very generous at Christmas. The sweets keep stacking up in my kitchen - I'm hauling a bagload over to the gym - maybe Employee Health will raid them in the break room. Lord knows I don't need anymore sugar - not with the diabetes test coming up next week.
Weight has crepped up to 138lbs. The pregnancy weight trackers say I'm at the top-end of the weight gain scale - I give them all the finger. I feel okay - sleep is a bit restless - peeing all the time. Baby Bell is still kicking away. Bret says he'd like him to be a field goal kicker. I keep reminding him of Ace Ventura.
Here's a pic my sis took last weekend in Clemson

Party on Wayne
Well tis the season for holiday parties! Friday night was dinner with the Reeves and a celebratory drink at Circa for Mark Konter's birthday. Circa became very crowded, so I dragged Breton out before things got too rowdy. 7 months and bar-hopping? Stay classy A.
Saturday night was Dana and Russ's annual White Elephant throw down. WOW - amazing soiree - we had a blast. Bret came home with a pink Christmas tree and I was bestowed a wall-mount guitar clock. It's going to look great in Baby Bell's room.
This morning, I swam for the first time since I can remember. It was tough - muscles pulling a lot - but I managed a good 50 minutes in the water while listening to a fantastic This American Life on my rockin' SwimP3. Also, a big thanks to one of my clients for giving me a very old one piece. She used to wear it when she was 20lbs heavier. It makes me happy that I helped her lose the weight - but isn't it bizarre that I'm now the one fitting into it?
Weight is holding at 135lbs. My sciatic nerve on my left side is killing me. I look like a freakin' torpedo. Check it out:

Gloucester, clients, parents, whale-like
Gloucester was wonderful - it was truly amazing to see our niece/nephew bounce around. They are the cutest - and that little Maggie - wow - what a kid. Check these out:
Clients are awesome - busier than ever - client gifts are ready to go, so I'm ahead of the game this year. Weight is holding steady at a cool 132.5, although I'll tell Joe tomorrow that it's 130lbs. I did a few MVE moves with my class tonight and I felt whale-like trying to get my ass up on the chair. Even at a level 4, I still sucked- and sucked wind, as my heart was beating out of my chest. The class rocked it - that's what an extra 20lbs will do to a girl, I guess.
My parents are coming tomorrow - I am really psyched to have them here. Mom and I are heading to a breast-feeding class on Saturday while Bret/dad put the nursery together. Fun times -
I wish this big baby boy would stop kicking me in the bladder.
