A very jelly last hoo-rah
Oh no I didn't. Yes I did. I told myself that I would have one indulgence before this Bell arrives. And it came in the form of a Jelly Doughnut. Not any jelly - specifically a Dunkin' Doughnuts jelly. I hadn't had one in YEARS and they are my favorite. However, the closest DD is on HWY 17 and 204, otherwise known as North Jacksonville. So my fantastico husbando and I ventured out today - first stop Target - second stop, DD for the jelly. Now, anyone who knows Savannah, knows that Target is in the same parking lot as Krispy Kreme. So, it's KK vs. DD. KK is 30 seconds away, DD is 30 minutes. KK it is. And here's the proof:

Heavy D
Well, it's more like Heavy C - which is what my cup size is now. I went to Target and bought new bras, but refuse to take the tags off, as I'm still in denial that I will wear them.
Weight is up to 154....Yup, I'm a cool 40lbs up. I'm seeing the appearance of another chin, but as my friend Ali said - it's all about Baby Bell right now. Only 3-4 more weeks to go. Had a great swimming session this morning. Thank God I'm swimming with all old ladies who don't care that I haven't shaved in 2 weeks.
We did TONS of great baby things this weekend...like: car seat check, glider purchase, stroller assembly (two of them!), and calking Baby's door frame. Of course, most of this was the work of my insanely awesome husband - but my supervision skills were essential.
We're laying low for the next few weeks - maybe Heavy C will become Heavy D. Right now, I'm def. Heavy A.

Cankles, Thankles, Diapers and Wipes
Whew! What a week! My cankles arrived on Wednesday. There's a pic below. Bret took it next to Winslow's leg - I'm not sure why, but I bet it was just so you avid readers could get a real picture of how swollen I am. The Hermans, Kennickells, and Konters hosted a Diapers/Wipes shower last night and it was AWESOME. Check out a photo of Jen's diaper wreath. I think she should give up lawyering and do showers full-time. Her husband disagreed with me.
The weight is now up to about 147lbs. I have a checkup tomorrow. Of course, I won't let them weigh me, but I'll be fairly honest.
My mom is coming to town on Thursday. Can't wait - she is even more organized than I am - or is it OCD - not sure which. Bret will head to Gloucester next weekend for Aunt Holly's memorial. It'll be a sad time - but also a time for celebration with lots of family and friends in town. I'll miss him for V-Day - but did we ever really celebrate it? Nothing more than a Bret Bell dinner and a creative card. That's all I need.

Neglect
Wow! Have I neglected this blog! But I knew I would - so much to do, so little time. This weekend is our Baby Basics course at Candler. All weekend long - Bret is such a trooper. Although, tomorrow I'm solo b/c it's his last tennis match (don't judge the man...he's gotta play). The baby course is interesting - not a waste of time, like we thought.
I had an amazing shower a few weeks ago in Atlanta. Kudos to all of the hosts - I couldn't have asked for a better party. Next weekend is the diapers/wipes couples shower. Bar-b-que and beer - a true Bell party.
Baby Bell is def. a soccer player - he kicks all day long, which is a good sign. I always thought soccer players had great legs - so here's hoping for a cross between Bret "skinny" legs and Adrienne "overly muscular" calves.
Weight is hovering at 145lb. That's right - you read it correctly. I'm up about 30lbs and I'm really okay with it. I can't really do anything high-impact anymore, so I'm sticking to spin, swimming, yoga, and weight lifting. I'm loving the new Savannah Power Yoga - although everyone in class looks at me like I'm going to give birth right in the middle of class. What would they do? What would I do? Could happen....
No more nasty comments from stupid people - just well wishes. I like to tell people I have 6.5 weeks left instead of telling them I'm due in March. March just seems so far away - but 6.5 is right around the corner.

Lectures
The girl at the bank drive-thru today says "honey are you pregnant or is your jacket just puffed up?" I said - "I'm pregnant, but if I wasn't, I'd be really pissed off at you."
Oh how time flies when you're eating a ton of food. I'm hungry all of the time - but trying to make better choices. I'm making a little dent in my Lovin' Spoons Yogurt gift card ($74 to go!). Thank God the death-by-chocolate holidays are over. We had another ultrasound on Tuesday and Baby Bell is about 2.5-3lbs. Big Bell!
I got a nice weight lecture from my OB. I know he's concerned about women getting depressed when they can't lose the baby weight, but I'm on a mission! Does he know what I do for a living??!! So the scale is measuring 141lbs. I'll probably top 150 - 155lbs by the time this big boy arrives.
The nursery is cute and almost done. Check out Bret's cool artwork (not his - but cool nonetheless). We are staying home this weekend, I'm a bit under the weather with sinus stuff. Next weekend is my first baby shower in ATL - so psyched.
